Halloween Treats
This Halloween nosh is so simple and the perfect compliment to your sand-witches! Your breadsticks should appear like a witches’ broom… the breadstick is the handle and the lettuce is the bristles. You’ll need 24 long and crispy breadsticks,1 container of hummus, 1 half iceberg lettuce wedge. Cut the lettuce into long, fine strips (think of the shredded lettuce on subs). Dip one end of each breadstick into the hummus. The hummus will serve as the “glue” to bond the lettuce. Roll the hummus-dipped breadstip in the lettuce strips so that the lettuce is “hanging” off the end of the breadstick. You can exchange sprouts for lettuce. Now you have a delicious and wickedly great treat for guests to snack on!
Here are some thoughts for your Halloween party fare to keep it overflowing with sweet treats and spooktacular tricks. Try orange & black popcorn from the Popcorn Factory, candied apples, finger sandwiches, mini sliders, Giant Halloween Caramel Apples with Nuts from Williams-Sonoma, Halloween Browniepops from Williams-Sonoma, Candy, candy and more candy! Plus who does not like candy apples. Make certain you utilize plenty of them to ornament, and indulge your sweet tooth!
