Kylie Minogue Bear Photograph Forbidden from Facebook
The vocalist was pictured holding a mic as she held the giant snuggly toy. Kylie was performing at London’s G-A-Y club when she was given the cuddly bear. The photograph was posted on Facebook by a fan although it was later pulled from the site.
The social marketing site sent out an e-mail which read: “we don’t permit pictures that contain nakedness, drug taking or violence.” it’s not the 1st time that Facebook has censored outwardly trusting photographs. Earlier in the year Facebook told one user to get rid of footage of porcelain dolls with no clothing on from her page, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. In 2008 the site was heavily criticized after it banned pictures of ladies breastfeeding. Thousands of girls had their photos removed from profiles and online albums after they were catalogued as “filthy content” by the site. Facebook said the site took no action over most breastfeeding pictures because they follow the site’s conditions of use, but photos that showed nipples were improper and needed to be removed.

Rocker Nick Cavern has outdone his previous muse Kylie Minogue by topping a poll of famous Aussies his fellow citizens need to see installed as PM. The previous birthday celebration star beat out competition from Minogue in addition to Powderfinger vocalist Bernard Fanning, musician John Butler, and Barry Humphries ‘ comic creation Lady Edna Everage. Cavern, who duetted with Minogue on his 1995 hit “Where the Wild Roses Grow”, tells the Australian Associated Press, “My first political act will be to introduce legislation causing all Australians to lower their expectations.” More than thirty thousand votes were cast in the poll, by MySpace.com, before Australia’s Fed election on Sat., Aug twenty-one.
