On Using CCTV to Help Prevent Home Burglaries

Disaster came about on return from a fantastic week-long vacation. I’ve been burglarized. So now I have weathered the arduous process of being a victim of a home burglary: the scandal of discovering a ramsacked home, the subdued and detached response by the local constabulary, and lastly the the pedantic and life-sapping task of dealing with the insurance policy.

Now I have to defend my house against robbery in an even more determined manner. I hear recordable cctv kits are inexpensive and uncomplicated to set up for your house. The primary issue with the house robbery was the fact that no neighbours actually witnessed anything. Closed Circuit television should remove this problem from happening as we can consult the video recordings.

In point of fact, many of the home owners of our village are looking to pool together and hoping to totally screen all of our streets and houses with Closed Circuit television coverage. It will mean we would all have to buy Closed Circuit television kits for each of our homes, while pooling funds in concert to pay for CCTV for open places like streets.

It sounds quite a reaction, but by utilising CCTV I am sure we can either stop break-ins or at least discover who is committing the robberies and can give video evidence to the police force.
